Starting Point

The Design Vision

My client, a custom home builder in Panama City Beach, had a clear goal: create a standout vacation rental that captured the relaxed sophistication of 30A. But he didn’t just need a well-built home—he needed a partner to shape the entire vision from the ground up.

He wanted to design a property that would feel polished yet welcoming—a coastal retreat that impressed at every turn while still feeling like home. With a blank slate and high expectations, he brought me in to guide the design from concept to completion.

Concept

My Creative Process

I stepped in to lead every aspect of the project—from initial selections to final styling. I managed everything from hard finishes like flooring, tile, and lighting to the full furnishings and layered decor that brought the home to life.

I wanted to stay right in step with the construction schedule, so I made sure each decision was made on time and aligned with the builder’s budget and priorities.

That collaboration took the pressure off the builder and paved the way for a cohesive, high-end design—one that feels fresh, modern, and tailored to the short-term rental market.

My Process in Action

I delivered detailed selections, lighting guidance, and electrical markups to keep construction moving smoothly from day one. Every asset was tailored to support the build timeline without compromising on style.

Once the foundational elements were in place, the builder handed me the reins on the interior design, trusting me to curate the furnishings, artwork, and finishing touches with full creative freedom.
