The Design Vision

I was initially brought in by the builder to select front-end finishes for a home in Churchill Oaks, a premier waterfront community in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. My vision was to create a home that felt both modern and classic, organic yet timeless, clean but warm.

The future homeowners fell in love with the design direction before ever stepping foot inside. Seeing only the design concepts I created during the build process, they knew this home was the perfect fit.

Once they purchased the property, my role quickly expanded as they enlisted my help to enhance other key interior elements. They wanted a design that balanced sophistication with livability, incorporating natural materials and thoughtful details to create a space that felt both inviting and refined.

Concept

My Creative Process

I focused on creating a warm, organic foundation by layering natural materials like wood and marble. I selected modern yet natural light fixtures and brass plumbing finishes to add a fresh, timeless aesthetic.

Throughout the process, I worked closely with the builder to ensure that every detail—from architectural elements to final finishes—came together seamlessly to complete the home’s sophisticated, welcoming feel.
